Turleneck sweater knitting pattern great for cold winters
Includes an option to knit a cowl instead of the turtleneck
The pullover is created with a warm, durable virgin wool milled locally in the U.S., in Harrisville, New Hampshire. The front of the body is decorated with a gentle, yet dramatic lace pattern, complemented by the statement balloon-shaped sleeves, worked in a brioche stitch pattern. Brioche is also used as ribbing on the body and the turtleneck to mirror the sleeves. The neckline is wide enough to not be too snug, but is a bit looser than a turtleneck.
The pattern includes an option to work a cowl instead of the turtleneck. Deep Sea Sweater is worked bottom-up in the round using a drop-shoulder construction. Sleeves are worked seamlessly from the armholes and worked in the round to the cuff. The sleeves are supposed to be slightly longer with the cuff touching your wrist.
