What projects is the wool and baby alpaca yarn suitable for?

The yarn can be used for any number of knitting projects, such as sweaters for adults who prefer a finer wool, or warm, lightweight blankets for your home.

Please note that while the yarn is generally recommended for baby knitting, it can’t be 100% guaranteed that it won’t irritate a baby’s skin since it depends on many factors and every person is different.

The yarn is a great choice for cold-weather textured stitch projects such as cabled sweaters or accessories with lace stitches. It shines when worked into knitted garments that benefit from a good stitch definition. The blend of baby alpaca and wool helps the finished garments retain shape overtime and gives them a lovely luster and drape. The baby alpaca creates a nice fuzzy halo and also adds incredible softness to the yarn.

The yarn can also be used for colorwork projects such as two-color brioche, knitting stripes, mosaic, and other knitting where you alternate between different colors. While not the most ideal due to the 3-ply qualities and being worsted-spun, the yarn could also be used for stranded colorwork.
